Better TTC

It is hard to tell that something was good or bad. What I should say is that something could be better.

TTC are something which a lot of people are proud of. It is said to be the No.3 in North America. Base on what? Is it the fleet size or the ticket price? Well, old Torontonians told every new comer that Yonge Street is the longest street in the world. So what? For me, it is just a very regular street with lot of traffic problems.

We do have a clean and high efficient TTC. Well, there is still something for continuous improvement. I am commuting from Downsview subway station to Sherbourne subway station every morning. I see this chair every morning which make me feel strongly that TTC have a lot to do to make their service better.

TTC are leaving first impression of Toronto to new comers and visitors. It makes no sense to brag that Toronto is the best city in the world to living. If some one are new, their eye are sharp, they can see something which are did not notice every day. When that chair lay over the floor of Sherbourne Subway Station day after day, most of people just ignore it and or even never notice it.

So, please stop bragging that Toronto has the highest TV tower in the world, or longest street in the world. Just fix the chair. Let make TTC better and make Toronto nicer.
