The fare machines in Toronto are red boxes of smaller size. You are provided two options wherein you can insert ten dollars bill to obtain four tokens. You can also insert twenty dollars bill to obtain eight tokens. The system does not offer any other complicated options such as coins, fives, change, etc.

The metro trains provide three situates of doors per car. There are the announcements of closing of doors but there is a continuous trouble of door shutting. There is also instance of offloading sometimes of metro trains since the doors do not shut properly. The Toronto transit holds four situates of doors for each car. It offers you quicker entry and exit facility. This is done through the benefit of extra doors. The doors will only close after giving a warning with three tone chime. If they are closed then they remain closed unlike shutting and opening.

The Toronto transit system includes a merger of subway-streetcar. The traveler does not have to wait for a long time to get the streetcar or subway. The operator in the metro announces the stop but it is often not pronounced correctly. The signs on the metro rail platforms are not proper. The traveler has to wait for longer time for the next metro train to arrive. The metro trains hold huge platforms with higher ceilings in comparison with Toronto. However, they are often occupied inspite of larger size. The Toronto TTC offers higher frequency of trains because of which there is no crowd ever even in peak hours.
